Gogoout response or reminder only arrive the day before pick up. No pick up location indicated. We have to logged into account to find the rental address. Also no details of payment made on booking especially any extras or insurance made. When pick up car, I was told that I have to pay a NT$10000 deposit which is taken against the credit card. Refunds are only issued 3 months later for any traffic fines or offences. We were told this is the standard for all rentals in Taiwan and if we do not agree to pay this deposit, we would not be able to rent the car. Nothing is indicated on booking the car in the gogoout website. We even told them this is very different from the previous car rental in Taichung where only an authorisation was taken not a payment of NT10k. So even though we only rented the car for 1 day, we had to pay such a big deposit and have to wait over 3 months for the refund! He said the authorities here can take up to 1.5months to send a fine notice but we think the rental company is just holding on to our money for too long. The staff service attitude was good and he even arrange a drop off at the Hualien Train station but I would be wary to rent again from them because of the huge deposit payment. On another note, Gogoout returns policy should also be improved. As you are quick to take payment immediately but takes more than 3 weeks for cancellation refunds and which we cannot use against another order. Most travellers don't stay for more than 3 weeks in one country.

很遺憾流程上讓你們沒有相當滿意，也謝謝你撥空評論，跟你說明目前臺灣政府針對外國旅客，在臺灣承租車輛所產生的交通違規並沒有完整的措施，如果沒有使用信用卡預刷押金，在你們歸還車輛離開臺灣後，有交通違規罰款會變成租車業者需要自行繳納費用，交通違規罰款也會在還車後三個月以內才會完整收到，信用卡預付押金紀錄以及說明，都會拍照後詳細記錄在通訊軟體的對話紀錄，時間內沒有交通違規罰款，將會主動退刷返回您的信用卡。

The car was really old, probably over 20 years old. The rental said that cars with dash/reverse cams are premium features but they're pretty common where I'm from. There are upfront charges for traffic fines -before they are even committed- for foreigners, but for some reason this is taken by the rental instead of paying the government directly. The Bluetooth is a jerry-rigged modification to the car instead of inbuilt because of how old it is. We got rear ended and had to pay for repairs, the rental said that the car must be repaired by the manufacturer which would of course make it more expensive, he said that it is a legal requirement be done by the manufacturer, which I am pretty sure is just a straight up lie. The company is seedy and I don't believe they are an honest business.

很遺憾流程上讓你們沒有相當滿意，也謝謝你撥空評論 車輛雖然比較舊，但是性能都是良好的，相對價格也是優惠的，店內也都有提供新車可以選擇。 你們這次是交通事故，是因為不熟悉路況在黃燈突然停下，導致後方兩台車追撞，事故的發生後三輛車都產生毀損，後續各個車輛送回原廠維修，維修費用也是我們後續不斷跟對方的保險爭取，最後也是由對方保險公司付款。 押金部分也有現場跟你說明目前臺灣政府針對外國旅客，在臺灣承租車輛所產生的交通違規並沒有完整的措施，如果沒有使用信用卡預刷押金，在你們歸還車輛離開臺灣後，有交通違規罰款會變成租車業者需要自行繳納費用，交通違規罰款也會在還車後三個月以內才會完整收到，信用卡預付押金紀錄以及說明，都會拍照後詳細記錄在通訊軟體的對話紀錄，時間內沒有交通違規罰款，將會主動退刷返回您的信用卡，2月17日歸還車輛，押金也在3月26日退刷，都有拍照記錄在同行友人的通訊軟體。 實際上的情況與您的評論，實在有較大的不同，是不是同行協助處理事情的友人和你沒有清楚的溝通。

There was an unexpected 10,000TWD charge for foreign drivers in case of speeding fines. They promise to refund it in 3 months, I hope it is true. The car itself and the service were great otherwise and I would recommend them apart from the 3 month foreigner extra charge.

商家服務好，離火車站地點稍遠也準時到達接送，車子也如介紹說明一樣並未誇大。

因為預算有限所以選擇車齡比較高但是便宜很多的車款，CP質非常高！車子雖然比較老但維護得很好，開起來順順的，爬山也都沒有問題，老闆也非常親切，還車時還帶我們去加油跟送我們到車站，下次再來花蓮會想再跟這家租!
