HERZE Car Rental-Taipei

The rental went very well overall. On the other hand, the office in Taipei station is very difficult to find.

The Pick Up location at Taipei Main Station wasn't quite apparent to the Uber/Taxi driver; but it certainly convenient for travelers who come in from Taoyuan airport. I booked a Toyota Yaris, but due to accident it was replaced by Honda Fit. The Car Rental promptly informed me and kept me updated at all times. Service is undeniably good, and staff was courteous. My only gripe is the insurance coverage was as much as my car rental cost for 4 days. The basic insurance is NOT sufficient to cover damages, theft and loss of income, and the lost of income due to the car rental in the event of a mishap was entirely new to me. The penalty for lost of income is very severe. One cannot afford not to have it covered. Unlike any international car rental company, collusion waive and zero access are priced as add-on to take care of damages and theft.
