Insurance typically doesn't cover the rental company's loss of business or depreciation costs during vehicle repair periods.

The calculation of business loss expenses is as follows: According to the government's stereotypical contract, if the vehicle repair period is within 10 days, the renter will be responsible for 70% of the original rental price during this period; within 11 to 15 days, the renter will be responsible for 60% of the original rental price, and if the vehicle is rented for more than 16 days, the renter will be responsible for 50% of the original rental price, with a maximum of 20 days as the upper limit. So just in case, make sure you check the rental contract and assess your insurance needs to prevent unnecessary disputes.
