was disappointed by service staff when picking up our car. service staff is very inflexible, does not speak English which made it very difficult to communicate. Service staff instructed us to top up the car before returning the car. we top up the car when we were apportimately 5 to 6 km to the car depot to return the car. when we arrived he requested to see the top up receipt we we did. he then said that we did not top up at the nearest fuel station and add that topping up from fuel station further away use up petrol and there not a full tank. it was totally unfair of him to said that. We end up having to pay additional JPY1185 for not using the nearest petrol station. Not good at all!!

The car rental location was conveniently situated right next to the hotel, which made everything very easy. The staff were also very friendly and helpful, making the experience even more pleasant.

Yes. Full refund is available if cancelled 6 days or more before pickup; a 50% refund is available if cancelled 3 days or more before pickup. No refund will be issued if the above conditions are not met. Detailed refund terms will be displayed on the booking page.

To rent a car in Japan, you will need your original Taiwanese driver's license, a Japanese translation of your driver's license issued by the Motor Vehicle Office or JAF, and your passport. All three are required. It is recommended to obtain the translation before departure to avoid being unable to pick up the car on-site.

All vehicles listed under umui rent-a-car-Omoromachi Store come with basic insurance as required by Japanese law.
