All cars are equipped with GPS and ETC card reader.
The Shin-Kobe shop also offers ETC Card rental (320 JPY per card per rental).
Snow tires are not complimentary, so those wishing to rent them should inquire in advance. (1080 JPY/set/24 h)
As we have a limited amount of snow tires, please be aware that we may not always have them in stock.

Yes. Full refund is available if cancelled 6 days or more before pickup; a 50% refund is available if cancelled 3 days or more before pickup. No refund will be issued if the above conditions are not met.

To rent a car in Japan, you will need your original Taiwanese driver's license, a Japanese translation of your driver's license issued by the Motor Vehicle Office or JAF, and your passport. All three are required. It is recommended to obtain the translation before departure to avoid being unable to pick up the car on-site.
All vehicles listed under [JR Rent-A-Car] Shin-Kobe Location come with basic insurance as required by Japanese law. Deductibles and detailed coverage vary by vehicle; please refer to the individual vehicle registration card for details.
